Welcome to Lake Rest Resort
Lake Rest Resort offers lodging, overlooking beautiful, quiet Little Spider Lake in Arbor Vitae Wisconsin. We are located less than 10 miles west of St. Germain and less than 5 minutes from Downtown Minocqua Wisconsin. Our homes are fully furnished, comfortable and cozy, lying in the heart of the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin and are a perfect getaway for rest and play no matter the season. We are just inside the Northern Highland State Forest with a large stand of 60’ – 80’ White Pine trees surrounding our 8 acre parcel.

Nestled amongst the tall White Pines is “Jim’s Hideaway”, a beautiful five bedroom, three bath executive home. With the large great room and fireplace (20’ x 30’) this outstanding home has been the home for two weddings, as well as two proposals! This home has the character for some blissful time, in a crowd, or alone.
Loon's Lodge
This gorgeous brand new six bedroom, four bath executive style home has the “million dollar” view overlooking Little Spider Lake. With a kids style loft area – two king size bedrooms in the lower level, and a master bedroom as well as another double bed room- you won’t find a spot without a grand view of the grounds and the lake. Built in April 2021
Little Spider lake
Little Spider Lake is a 236 acre lake with little outside fishing pressure. It is home to trophy musky along with walleye, large and small mouth bass as well as northern pike, as well as an abundant perch, bluegill, rock bass, crappie and pumpkinseed make up the bulk of the panfish population. Walleye and Musky populations are both sustained through alternate year stocking programs.
